Since I was a kid, I have always been involved in art and creating. I am always looking for ways to express myself artistically, whether it be through graphic design, film and digital photography, painting, drawing, mixed media, ceramics, etc. The act of creating has been one of the few things that fully engages me and allows me to feel like my most authentic self.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have a certificate in Graphic & Web Design<\/strong> from John Abbott College. I previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology<\/strong> from McGill University with minors in behavioural science and art history<\/strong>. While I didn\u2019t initially pursue a creative avenue in my education, creativity has always remained one of the most important parts of my life. I believe my background in psychology can only enhance my work as a graphic designer, as it has contributed to the development of strong interpersonal skills. It also aids my understanding of how individuals interpret and respond to visual stimuli, increasing the potential for more effective visual communication.

Graphic design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My interest in graphic design stems from my love to express myself creatively and my love for problem solving. Cultivating the ability to transform abstract ideas into tangible visual experiences is intrinsically rewarding for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The power of design lies in its ability to evoke emotions and influence perceptions; it is exciting to be given the responsibility of creating work that can inspire, inform, or persuade.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Photography<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My interest in photography started as a very young child. When asked what I wanted to be, the answer since I could speak was \u201ca photographer\u201d. As it has mainly remained a hobby for me, I am interested in exploring it more in a professional capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being present is at the heart of my passion for photography. It is a very meditative practice for me, which translates into all areas of my life and creative processes. This mindfulness enhances my photography as each moment becomes an opportunity to observe and connect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
